You'll be over the moon when your first book appears! I certainly was, and many books later I started helping upcoming authors to fulfil their own dreams. One of the first was my son Robin Triggs. Now a successful novelist, he's on hand to give specialist help with fiction. Whatever you write - biography, maybe, or books for children -
you'll have your own questions! We're based in Norfolk, UK, but help authors throughout the UK and Ireland.
We'll give you answers and guidance at the pace you choose (or your family choose!). Why not just send us samples of work as and when you're ready? Our feedback will boost your skills as well as the work in hand.
We're keen to show you your best ideas and how to exploit them. Whether fact or fiction, your characters are your greatest assets. As well as their obvious traits and quirks they'll have personal secrets and we'll help you to draw back the veil for your readers.
We'll also help you to make the most of the tense situations your characters face. In the extract below there's a glint of menace in someone's eyes. We show the author how to build on this, turning good into better and making their work more saleable.
